Thermal and Direct Thermal Label Printing
At M&R Label, we have two thermal printing options for your business – direct thermal and thermal transfer printing. The former works for short-term applications and only prints in black ink. Thermal transfer prints in color as it uses ribbons. It also makes it more appropriate for long-term applications. It’s suitable for harsh environments and extreme heat and cold, making it a good choice for food and beverages, pharmaceutical products, and beauty products. Fun fact: Controlled heat is the main component in thermal printing as heat is used to apply an image onto the label.
